Belorusneft to raise number of car charging stations in Belarus to 500 in 2021

GOMEL, 10 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft intends to increase the number of car charging stations all over the country up to 500 in 2021, the company’s press service told BelTA.
Belorusneft is working hard to expand the chain of car charging stations. Plans are in place to install about 150 electric vehicle charging stations in Minsk in 2020. As many as 54 stations were commissioned in the nation’s capital last year. A significant number of them were installed near popular locations and crowded areas such as car parks, hotels, retail outlets, business centers, and sport facilities. There are 85 EV charging stations in Minsk right now.
Belorusneft clarified they focus on providing a package of services: the company’s modern vehicle refueling stations also offer the best conditions for clients’ leisure and for car servicing.
The Belarusian industrial group Belorusneft is the company in charge of creating and developing a chain of electric vehicle charging stations in Belarus. In 2019 the number of EV charging stations in the country reached 250.
