Works of young Belarusian artists on display in Paris

PARIS, 26 February (BelTA) – An exhibition of young Belarusian artists Irina Domanova and Marina Moroz opened at the Embassy of Belarus in France on 25 February, BelTA has learnt. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to France Pavel Latushko stressed at the presentation that it is culture that brings nations the closest to each other. It gives an opportunity to get familiar with the spiritual legacy of different countries. Irina Domanova and Marina Moroz use their creative potential to continue the best traditions of the Belarusian artists of the School of Paris. The exposition displays 12 paintings. The presentation gathered representatives of the French government bodies, the France-Belarus Friendship Group from Nord-Pas-de-Calais, foreign diplomats, French guests of the embassy. Invited to attend the event was also the Belarusian delegation that is taking part in the international agri-business show Sima-2013. Apart from that, Marc Chagall’s paintings are currently displayed at the Museum of Luxembourg in Paris. Besides, three works of the famous Belarusian artist Leon Bakst were put on display at the pre-auction exhibition in Paris on 21 February.
