Alexander Lukashenko: international prestige of Belarus increases

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has congratulated the Belarusian people on the Day of October Revolution, BelTA learnt from the press service of the head of state. “The victory of the Great October opened a new page in the world history. Having proclaimed the rights of nations to self-determination, it created unprecedented opportunities for the national revival, accelerated socio-economic and cultural development of the nations,” the message says. Paying a tribute to the historical events, Belarus is moving confidently forward, the President highlighted. “The economy has been rapidly growing, peoples’ life has been improving, the defence capacity of the state and socio-political stability of the society have been growing stronger and the international prestige of Belarus increasing. It is a result of the right strategic policy supported by the Belarusian people, the policy which is being consistently carried out in this difficult situation,” Alexander Lukashenko said.
