Alexander Lukashenko to go to Gomel Oblast on working trip

MINSK, 30 August (BelTA) – President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is expected to go to Gomel Oblast on a working trip, the press service of the Belarus President told BelTA. The Belarusian head of state is expected to visit the enterprise Experimental Base Krinichnaya. He will hear out a report about how his instructions concerning the construction of a corn calibration plan and enhancement of its output capacity had been fulfilled. The President will be also informed about whether Belarusian agricultural companies are well-supplied with Belarus-grown corn seeds. The head of state will get familiar with the production of corn seeds. After that Alexander Lukashenko will visit Mozyr Oil Refinery to get familiar with the progress in reconstruction, retooling and modernization of the enterprise. The head of state will be informed about the fulfillment of his instructions to provide Belarusian oil refineries with raw materials, about the current state of affairs and prospects of the Belarusian-Venezuelan joint venture that had been set up to extract oil in Venezuela, and about deliveries of Venezuelan oil to Belarus. The next day President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko is expected to continue his working trip around Gomel Oblast.
