American Eaton names BMZ perfect supplier

GOMEL, 23 May (BelTA) - The American Industrial Corporation Eaton has awarded Belarusian Steel Works (BMZ) with special prize “Perfect Supplier” for the performance in hydraulics sector in 2010, the company told BelTA. Among over 1000 suppliers the concern cooperates with the Perfect Supplier title in the hydraulics sector was bestowed upon the Belarusian producer, Belmet (Austria) and BKS (USA). The award ceremony attended by the Belarusian representatives was held at the European headquarters of the Eaton Hydraulics Corporation in Switzerland. The Belarusian producer was recognized by its strategic partner Eaton for the high quality of its products, developed logistics of supplies and quick response to consumer needs. Cooperation between BMZ and Eaton started in 1999. In 2005 the Belarusian plant was first named the perfect supplier by the corporation. Eaton is one of the biggest corporations in the USA and worldwide. Founded in 1911, this transport company has grown into a transnational corporation covering 150 markets and employing nearly 70,000 people across the globe. The sales in 2010 made up $13.7 billion.
