Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation commission to sit in Gomel 5-7 October

GOMEL, 4 October (BelTA) – The 8th session of the Belarus-Kazakhstan intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation will take place in Gomel on 5-7 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. The oblast capital will welcome Kazakhstan’s government delegation led by Emergencies Minister Vladimir Bozhko. During the forum Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Valery Ivanov will meet with the head of the Kazakh delegation. The schedule of the session includes the business council on the cooperation between the Belarusian and Kazakh chambers of commerce and industry and a business matchmaking session. Following the session, the parties will sign bilateral agreements on trade and economic cooperation. The delegation of Kazakhstan will pay a visit to Gomselmash, Gomelagrokomplekt, Spartak and other companies of the region. Kazakh officials will also visit the national research center of radiation medicine and human ecology, and the lyceum of the Gomel Engineer Institute of the Emergencies Ministry.
