Belarus reduces export duties on oil, oil products 1 August
MINSK, 1 August (BelTA) – On 1 August Belarus reduces customs duties on oil and oil products exported outside the Customs Union. This is envisaged by Resolution No. 1007 of the Council of Ministers of 27 July 2011. The resolution came into force on 1 August, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government. As from 1 August the export duty on one tonne of crude is reduced from $445.1 to $438.2. The export duty on oil containing sulfur makes up $201 except for crude produced at Verkhnechonsk, Talakansk, Dulisminsk, Zapadno-Ayansk, Yaraktinsk and Markovsk oil and gas condensate fields, as well as Alinsk and Danilovsk gas and oil fields. The export duty on light oil products (light distillates, middle distillates, gasoils) is set at $293.6 per tonne, on commercial gasoline and directly distilled gasoline $394.4. The duty on heavy petroleum products (liquid fuels, oils, waste oils) makes up $204.6; on propane, butanes, ethylene, propylene and butadiene, other liquefied gases - $182.8, on petroleum jelly, mineral waxes, and similar products - $204.6. Moreover, the export duty on one tonne of oil coke and bitumen, residual oil amounts to $204.6, benzol, toluene and xylenes - $293.6. The afore-mentioned resolution introduced amendments to Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 1932 of 31 December 2010 “On setting export duties on crude oil and some oil products and on abolishing some resolutions of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus”.БЕЛТА
