Belarusian Seismotekhnika ships batch of vibration sources to Turkmenistan

MINSK, 11 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian company Seismotekhnika has shipped five vibration sources SV-30/120M to the Turkmen state corporation Turkmengeologia, representatives of the manufacturing corporation Belorusneft told BelTA. BelTA has been told it was the second batch of machines sent by Belorusneft’s mechanical engineering enterprise to Turkmenistan. The delivery was part of the contract the sides signed in 2009. Seismotekhnika has contracted to deliver a total of 20 machines. Another batch of five vibration sources will be shipped by the end of 2011. Apart from export efforts Belorusneft pays close attention to upgrading technical capabilities of its structural divisions. For instance, its Promservice division has acquired a mobile lab to diagnose guard relays and automatic equipment of high-voltage stations and substations. The equipment is mounted on an all-wheel-drive truck. The lab boasts state-of-the-art instruments, comfortable transportation and field mission conditions for personnel and the ability to work in any climatic conditions. The Gomel-based open joint-stock company Seismotekhnika is part of the manufacturing corporation Belorusneft. Seismotekhnika is one of the leading suppliers of machinery for oil industry. It specializes in manufacturing vibration sources of seismic signals. Seismotekhnika also offers equipment for major overhaul of wells, equipment for well drilling and oil extraction. At present Seismotekhnika’s products are sold in Turkmenistan, Russia, Ukraine, and Venezuela. The manufacturing corporation Belorusneft was founded in 1966. It surveys and develops oil fields, drills wells, extracts oil and associated petroleum gas. Belorusneft operates in Belarus, Russia, Venezuela, Ukraine and Poland.
