Chinese-Belarusian cultural exchange centre opens in Beijing

On March 26 the Chinese-Belarusian cultural exchange centre opened in Beijing, BelTA learnt in the Chinese Embassy in the People’s Republic of China. During the opening ceremony Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Anatoly Tozik noted that the new public organization will help government bodies to strengthen and develop the cooperation between the two countries and peoples. The head of the diplomatic mission expressed hope that the centre will render the information support for the Chinese and Belarusian companies which want to cooperate in trade, economic and investment areas. Representatives of many Chinese governmental departments and mass media took part in the opening ceremony of the centre. The Chinese-Belarusian cultural exchange centre is the first public organization in Beijing set up to develop friendship and cooperation of China with a foreign country. The centre will help Chinese and Belarusian organizations and citizens to establish contacts in various spheres: education, culture, tourism, science and technology, trade and economic relations.
