Feedback from workers helps improve Belarus’ laws

GOMEL, 22 June (BelTA) – The feedback from labor collectives contributes to improving the quality of Belarusian laws, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko said during his working trip to Gomel Oblast on 22 June. The speaker toured agricultural and manufacturing enterprises of the region. He visited the agricultural company Brilevo (Gomel District), the Gomel-based radio-making plant and the Starting Engines Plant. Vladimir Andreichenko talked to the executives and specialists of the enterprises and met with labor collectives. According to him, such meetings are extremely important as they help to indentify the existing problems. On the other hand, Belarusian MPs have an opportunity to meet with businessmen and leaders of other states. For example, the House of Representatives alone set up 44 working groups to cooperate with other parliaments. “Naturally, our diplomatic and parliamentary ties help us advance the interests of our enterprises abroad, in particular in the countries with which we have friendly relations,” Vladimir Andreichenko said. During his meetings with labor collectives, he pointed to three major issues that have to be addressed in partnership with labor collectives. Those are the increase in Belarus’ exports, the expansion of import-substituting production and social support. “Our real economic sector is working well and I see that the principles voiced in the recent speeches of the President are supported by people,” Vladimir Andreichenko said.
