Gomel to host major regional exhibition on 18-21 May

GOMEL, 17 May (BelTA) – The major regional exhibition in Belarus, Spring in Gomel, will take place on 18-21 May, BelTA learnt from the Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exhibition has been held for twelve years already. This year more than 200 companies from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Italy, and other countries exhibit their production. The exhibition pavilion will cover 3,000 square meters including more than 1,000 square meters for display booths. Among the exhibitors are companies operating in Free Economic Zone Gomel such as Gomel-Raton, Gomselmash, Gomelsteklo, 8 Marta, Spartak, Belimportmekh, Robert Bosch group of companies (Germany), Pinskdrev, and other Belarusian manufacturers. The forum is expected to see the visits of 30 delegations from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova (including Gagauzia autonomy), Latvia, Lithuania, as well as foreign individuals, officials, and businessmen. The main objective of the exhibition is to portray Gomel and Gomel Oblast as a promising region with a developed industry and huge scientific and economic potential. The display of a wide range of goods produced by the Gomel companies will facilitate the development of economic and trade ties between Belarusian producers and companies abroad.
