Gomselmash to train Belarusian-Chinese joint venture specialists

GOMEL, 1 November (BelTA) – A group of Chinese specialists will be trained by Gomselmash, BelTA learned from Igor Korotkevich, Gomselmash’s Non-CIS Sales Office Head. It is the first time the training center will welcome specialists from China. They are employees of the Belarusian-Chinese joint venture Harbin Dong Jin Gomel. The joint venture manufactures agricultural machines. Based in Heilongjiang Province, the company intends to expand the choice of products and increase the output and therefore needs better qualified personnel. The joint venture already batch produces the ear corn harvester KPS-4 and the forage harvester KSK-600, with hundreds of the machines made already, said the source. Yet it is necessary to improve the quality of products and arrange their maintenance. The team that will arrive in Belarus includes five people. For a month they will be busy learning manufacturing practices, design and rules of operation of Gomselmash harvesters. Close attention will be paid to practical training that is supposed to begin on 8 November. The Belarusian-Chinese joint venture Harbin Dong Jin Gomel Agricultural Mechanical Engineering Enterprise was founded by Gomselmash and the Chinese corporation Dong Jin Group in 2009. Last year the enterprise was busy assembling forage harvesters KSK-600 Palesse FS60. This year the product choice has been expanded with a corn harvester. The manufacturing corporation Gomselmash is a multi-business producer of machines designed to cultivate and harvest crops using contemporary agrarian technologies. The Gomselmash line-up includes machines for harvesting grain, forage crops, sugar beet, and potato.
