The aim of the visit is to study Belarus’ efforts to restore the polluted areas after the Chernobyl accident. The Japanese delegation is set to visit the national research and practical center for radiation medicine and human ecology, Vetka and Bragin central district hospitals, Radiology Institute, international public charitable organization “Children of Chernobyl.” They are also scheduled to meet with Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Dvornik.
