Lukashenko calls for impartiality in Chernobyl issues

NAROVLYA, 26 April (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko demanded that Belarusian scientists are impartial in what concerns the issues of recovery of the Chernobyl-affected areas. “I want just one thing from the scientists: to be impartial and objective. We need an absolutely transparent picture here,” the head of state said when on the tour around Narovlya District on 26 April. Alexander Lukashenko stressed that a lot depends on scientists in the issues of the rehabilitation of the contaminated land. “The thing is about your civil stand, not cost accounting.
