Oil processing at Mozyr Oil Refinery 25% up in 2011

MOZYR, 28 February (BelTA) – In 2011 OAO Mozyr Oil Refinery increased oil processing by 25% in comparison with 2010, Vitaly Pavlov, Deputy Director General for Raw Materials and Sales of Mozyr Oil Refinery, told media during a press tour on 28 February. In 2011 the company processed 10.380 million tonnes of oil, 2 million tonnes more than in 2010. The company processed 6.5 million tonnes of its own oil or 213% as against 2010. In 2011 proceeds from sales were close to $3 billion. Labor productivity improved as well. Vitaly Pavlov said the performance was good although the company had to work in complicated conditions. Nevertheless, the company management did their best to ensure steady operation of the company. The Deputy Director General said that despite the 2011 year problems the company started producing European quality bitumen and an arctic climate diesel fuel variety. The latter met a warm welcome on the domestic market in cold weather conditions, said Vitaly Pavlov. Mozyr Oil Refinery products are sold home and abroad. In 2011 the domestic market accounted for 31% of the sales. The company supplied its products to Ukraine, Poland, Russia, the Netherlands, Denmark, the UK, Germany, Slovakia, Romania, and Hungary. Vitaly Pavlov stressed the company managed to keep reconstruction and modernization going through 2011. Mozyr Oil Refinery was founded in 1975 and re-incorporated into an open joint stock company in 1994. The government share in the company’s authorized fund stands at 42.76%, that of NGK Slavneft 42.58%, Mozyr Oil Refinery Plus 12.25%, natural persons 2.41%. The company specializes in processing oil, manufacturing and selling oil products. Certified products account for about 95% of the total output.
