Over 200 companies partake in Spring in Gomel Expo

GOMEL, 20 May (BelTA) – Over 200 businesses from ten countries displayed their products at the Spring in Gomel international universal fair which opened on 19 May, BelTA has learned. Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Vladimir Dvornik noted at the opening ceremony that the forum is held for the 12th time and the number of participants is increasing every year. In 2011 the exhibition features products from CIS countries, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, etc. Vladimir Dvornik praised the high level of organization of the forum, the diversity of local products. Vladimir Dvornik is convinced that this fair and the Gomel Economic Forum which will take place on 20 May will contribute to the region’s economy development. The exhibition pavilion will cover 3,000 square meters including more than 1,000 square meters for display booths. Partaking in the event are almost 30 delegations from Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, participants of the Gomel Economic Forum, officials and business circles. The forum will stay open till 21 May.
