Prime Ministers of Belarus, Ukraine to meet in late May

GOMEL, May 6 (BelTA) – The Prime Ministers of Belarus and Ukraine will meet in late May. The agreement was reached in a meeting between President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko and Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko in Gomel. “The Prime Ministers should meet in late May to take decisions on economic and humanitarian projects,” the Belarusian leader said. The heads of government will start implementing the agreements reached at the highest level. Alexander Lukashenko also noted that a session of the mixed Belarusian-Ukrainian commission for trade and economic cooperation would be held prior to the meeting of the Prime Ministers.
