State will spare no money for education, healthcare, Lukashenko says

MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – The state will spare no expense on education and healthcare, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in a session on the state and prospects of the development of cancer care facilities in Belarus on 26 October. “You know my position: it is education and healthcare that matter most. The state needs a healthy educated person. Therefore we are going to invest in it,” Alexander Lukashenko said. The Belarusian leader noted that the state would continue extending a social constituent of the budget. “We will do our utmost to save people, bring them back to normal life, give them decent education. But we will act pointwise, and the first step today is oncology,” the president added.
