UNESCO: Belarus’ state education expenses high
Belarus is one of the 35 countries where state education expenses make 6% and more of the gross national product according to a new report released by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. The UNESCO report is dedicated to the implementation of the programme “Education for All”. Only in one third of the 35 states, including Belarus, the population exceeds five million people. Nine countries of the group are industrially developed nations. In Central and Eastern Europe only Slovenia and Ukraine are part of the group of the countries with high education expenses apart from Belarus.
