12.4% of voters vote early over three days of election to local councils of deputies in Belarus
Over the first three days of the early voting for the election to the local councils of deputies, 12.4 per cent of voters voted early, secretary of the central election commission Nikolai Lozovik told BelTA.
Voters of Gomel oblast were most active – 15.5 per cent of the people on the voters’ list. In Brest oblast 12.7 per cent voted early, in Vitebsk oblast – 14.2 per cent, Grodno oblast – 11.5 per cent, Minsk – 12.7 per cent, Mogilev – 12.6 per cent and in the city of Minsk – 8 per cent. According to Nikolai Lozovik, “the early voting goes rather actively including rural areas”.
A reminder, Polling stations work January 9 to January 13, from 10am till 2pm and from 4pm till 7pm.
