Access to information is facilitated in Gomel oblast
Information kiosks are expected to emerge in every region of Gomel oblast. As head of the department for handling people’s appeals and legal support issues Vitaliy Utkin told BelTA, the initiative will require around Br90 million to be allocated from the oblast budget.
The new info-kiosks will have printing machines so that clients are able to print the information they need.
According to the official, the kiosks will provide various information services, showcase samples of applications and even help people appeal to local bodies of authority.
The new kiosks are believed to streamline the operation of ‘one stop shop’ institutions which handle people’s appeals.
The information kiosks are said to be stationed in the premises of the regional bodies of authority.
