Artists from 10 countries to take part in 4th international choreography festival “Sozhki Karagod”
Representatives of 10 countries will take part in the 4th international choreography festival “Sozhki Karagod” (Sozh Round Dance) which will run from September 7 until September 10 in Gomel. As BelTA has been told in the culture department of the town council, applications for participation have been submitted by dance companies from France, Great Britain, Germany, China, Russia and other states.
A total of 35 amateur dance groups and 150 ball dance performers will take part in the festival. Moreover, representatives of ballet theaters, professional dance groups, prizewinners of the international festival will perform in the capacity of guests.
The 4th international choreography festival “Sozhki Karagod” has been instituted by the culture ministry of Belarus, Gomel oblast executive committee and Gomel town council.
