Belarus, Ukraine sign agreement on cooperation during global financial crisis
The governments of Belarus and Ukraine signed the agreement on developing the scope of measures to intensify the bilateral trade and economic cooperation during the global financial crisis. The document was signed by First Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Vladimir Semashko and Ukrainian Vice-Premier Alexander Turchinov in Gomel on January 15, BelTA has learnt.
The agreement foresees the assistance for economic entities in different areas. The document also charges the banking structures to consider the issue concerning the refusal of pegging to US dollar in mutual payments.
