Delegations from 7 countries gather for Gomel Economic Conference
GOMEL, 10 September (BelTA) – Partaking in the Gomel Economic Conference are 28 delegations from 7 countries. Alongside with businessmen the conference is attended by representatives of 13 twin-towns, Chairman of the Gomel City Hall Viktor Pilipets told media on 10 September.
In his words, such attention from potential investors demonstrates their big interest in the joint activity. Three investment agreements are to be signed during the conference envisaging the construction of a solid-waste disposal and recycling plant in Gomel, a network of fast-food restaurants and a theme park.
Viktor Pilipets did not rule out that the negotiations would help find partners for the implementation of other important projects of the city.
The Economic Conference makes part of a wide program dedicated to the celebrations of the Day of Gomel on 11 September.
