Dobrush Porcelain-Making Plant increases export to Russia by 11% in Q1 2009

GOMEL, April 17 (BelTA) – In January-March 2009, the Dobrush Porcelain-Making Plant produced products at the amount of Br8.5 billion. The export to the Russian Federation increased by 11% as against the same period last year, BelTA learnt from Oksana Galoganova, head of the marketing and sales department of the plant. The export to Russia makes more than 90% of all the foreign supplies of the plant. “At the same time, it does not mean that we do not expand cooperation with customers from other countries,” Oksana Gologanova noted. For instance, in late 2008, the plant resumed the supplies of porcelain ware to Ukraine. In March, the Dobrush plant supplied the porcelain ware to Ukraine at the amount of Br100 million. In May, the plant intends to double this figure. A contract at the amount of Br112 million has been concluded with Uzbek trading companies. Owing to the reconstruction, the plant reduced the energy intensity by 20%. So, the porcelain ware produced in Dobrush has a very competitive price.
