Festival of students’ groups which popularize healthy stylelife starts in Gomel oblast
Festival of students’ groups which popularize healthy stylelife has started in Gomel oblast.
The event is being held in the framework of the 2006-2010 state program of the national actions against drunkenness and alcoholism and it is aimed at popularizing the healthy stylelife among the youth, BelTA has been informed in the press service of the Gomel oblast committee of the Belarusian Republican Union of Youth (BRUY).
The festival will be running through April 13. The main participants of the event are the special students’ groups set up on the base of higher educational establishments of Gomel oblast. During the festival these groups will popularize healthy stylelife in the form of performances, mass actions using agitational materials (leaflets and posters) and also various reports for the youth.
In the course of the festival the jury panel will determine winners in the following nominations – “Best original author’s project”, “Best embodiment of various genres of art”, “Best creative experiment” and others.
The festival was organized by the youth department of the Gomel oblast executive committee jointly with administrations of higher educational establishments of Gomel oblast under the auspices of the health, ideology and culture departments of the Gomel oblast executive committee, the state establishment “Gomel oblast center of hygiene, epidemiology and public health”, the council of rectors of the Gomel universities and the oblast BRUY committee.
