Folk group Yalinka to represent Belarus at international festival in Zielona-Gora
Folk group Yalinka (Elsk, the Gomel oblast) will represent Belarus at the 23rd international folk festival in Zielona-Gora (Poland), BelTA learnt in the culture department of the Elsk Regional Executive Committee.
The forum which will be held on September 7-14 will gather folk bands from many countries.
Folk group Yalinka was established in 1991. Its repertoire includes Belarusian folk songs and also songs created by Belarusian and Russian composers. During the concerts Yalinka uses traditional Belarusian fun and games.
