Full phone coverage in Gomel oblast's new agro-towns by year-end
GOMEL, 2 December (BelTA) – the telephone landline service will be installed in twenty-two new agro-towns of the he Gomel oblast by the end of the year, BelTA learnt from the Beltelecom Gomel branch.
At present, Beltelecom specialists are reequipping automatic telephone exchanges, replacing the analog equipment with new digital equipment.
In November, Beltelecom provides the telephone landline service to all the production facilities in the agro-towns. By 1 January all agro-towns’ households will have telephones as well. All in all, by the end of the year, 6,000 new telephone numbers will appear in these settlements.
