Gomel oblast allocates Br350 million for out-of-school education development in 2007
In 2007, the Gomel oblast assigned Br350 million for out-of-school education development, BelTA learnt in the education department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee.
The funds will be invested in strengthening of the material and technical base of nonschool educational centres, clubs and studios of the region.
The Rechitsa, Kalinkovichi, Korma and Svetlogorsk regions have a big experience of out-of-school education.
In 2007, in the Gomel oblast the number of children engaged in the out-of-school education work increased by 6.5%. At present, more than 57 thousand children are members of various clubs and studios.
