Gomel oblast puts in operation mobile processor of solid construction waste
Gomel oblast has put in operation a mobile crushing unit to process solid construction waste, director of Mozyr department for mechanization #58 Vladimir Kuzma told BelTA.
In his words, the heart of the unique unit is crushing and switching aggregates which can process up to 200 tons of reinforced concrete and other solid construction waste an hour. The secondary raw materials received can be used to make other construction materials or to build roads and pavements. Apart from that, the mobile unit is equipped with a magnet separator which separates concrete from metal and fittings.
In the near future the company will also receive an excavator with interchangeable scoop, hydraulic hammer and scissors to dismount two- and three-storey buildings and crush concrete boards.
According to Vladimir Kuzma, the mobile unit will be used to demolish unused buildings.
The mobile crushing unit costs Br1,6 billion. The oblast innovation fund allocated the money for purchase it.
