GOMEL, 21 April (BelTA) – The international peace march to mark the 65th anniversary of Great Victory will take place in the Gomel oblast on 28-29 April, BelTA learnt from Chairman of the Gomel oblast department of the Belarusian Peace Foundation Timofei Glushakov.
Partaking in the campaign will be representatives of the veteran and youth organizations of the Gomel oblast and the Kursk oblast of Russia. The peace march will start at the Glory Mound in Gomel, come along Vetka, Chechersk, Korma, Zhuravichi and Rogachev. The participants of the march will visit burial places of those killed during the Great Patriotic War, place wreaths, take part in meetings.
