Gomel pupils and BRYU activists to attend youth subbotnik
More than 5 thousand activists of the Gomel oblast committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union /BRYU/ will attend the republican youth subbotnik on April 15. BRYU second secretary Vitali Derevyanko has informed BelTA that pupils and oblast secondary educational institutions students will also take part in the community improvement projects.
Young people will put school territories and city parks in order. They will also improve Novobelizki memorial complex, Sevrukovski fraternal cemetery, monuments to warriors perished during the Great Patriotic War.
According to the BRYU secretary, in view of the 65th anniversary of the heroic defense of Mogilev from the Nazis the funds raised during the subbotnik will be used to improve Buinichi Field memorial complex.
