Business suits will be compulsory for coach drivers, deputy director general of national automobile transportation enterprise Gomeloblavtotrans Alexander Knyazev informed BelTA.
Up till now the regulation was effective to drivers on international routes only. However, the enterprise administration decided to expand the rule by including bus routes, which connect regional and district towns. By the end of the year drivers on 106 intertown routes will have to put on business suits. Such suits include a blue suit, a white shirt and a necktie.
According to Alexander Knyazev, the uniform is one of the ways to form an image of the transport company and improve the quality of service. The source believes, the business suits will make the drivers look good in the eyes of customers and more responsible.
