Gomel Region Drama Theatre to stage Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion today
Today Gomel Region Drama Theatre will stage its romance-fantasy interpretation of Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion.
Theatre representatives told BelTA, the interpretation of the play is directed by producer Lidia Monakova, honoured art worker of the Republic of Belarus, head of the acting art chair of Belarusian State Academy of Arts. The scenography, costumes, and music was written by Sergei Kulazhenko. Metropolitan ballet-master Marina Filatova presents her sculpturesque etudes.
Well-know artists of the theatre such as merited artist of Belarus Yuri Feigin, Svetlana Yefimova, Vladislav Karako, Anastasia Zadorina, people’s artist of Belarus Yuri Shefer and others take part in the production.
