Gomel region to host international youth festival “Student’s Heat 2007”
The 2nd open international youth festival of young people and students “Student’s Heat 2007” will be held in the Gomel region on July 10-12, BelTA has been told in the town committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
According to specialists, attending the festival will be the teams of universities of the Gomel oblast and also Ukraine and Russia.
The program of the festival includes the 9th open intellectual games tournament and also sports competitions. The festival aims to popularize outdoor activities and healthy lifestyle, sport and tourism among students, promote ideological and patriotic upbringing of young people and to develop international cooperation.
The festival is organized by the Gomel town council, Gomel oblast and town committees of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
