Gomel students to take lessons about history of Belarus-Russia Union State
GOMEL, March 31 (BelTA) – On April 1-2, specialists of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble will give lessons about the history of the Belarus-Russia Union State “Belarus and Russia. Friendship and Unity” at some educational establishments of Gomel, BelTA learnt from Nadezhda Bragina, head of the education and public relations department of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble.
The specialists of the Gomel Palace and Park Ensemble got an idea to tell about the history of creation and development of the Belarus-Russia Union State in 2008. Then, they proposed to give the unusual lessons based on the documents and photographs. Such lessons became popular among the youth. So, this year, the specialists of the Gomel Palace and Parke Ensemble decided to continue giving such lessons.
According to Nadezhda Bragina, a number of schools and universities of Gomel expressed their wish to offer the lessons about the history of the Union State. Local students will be told about the history of creation of the Slavonic unity, peoples’ community, about the economic, cultural and educational cooperation between the two countries.
