Gomel to host international forum “Innovation technologies in business-education”
The Belarusian Trade and Economic University of Consumer Cooperatives will host the 1st international spring forum “Innovation technologies in business-education” which will be held in Gomel on April 23. About 150 participants from all over the world are expected to take part in the forum.
First pro-rector of the university Svetlana Deshchenia told BelTA that during the 2 days of the forum the university will demonstrate a model of business-education which has been used here for five years. Apart from getting theoretical knowledge, the students of the Trade and Economic University have an opportunity to implement their projects through the students’ centre of business-education. The following projects are currently being implemented at the university: “Employment Agency”, “Tourism in the Gomel oblast”, “Marketing studies”, “Business-education of the military” and others.
According to Svetlana Deshchenia, professors from the leading universities of Russia, Ukraine, Sweden, Germany and the US will share experience with their Belarusian counterparts. The programme of the forum also includes a plenary session and discussion panels.
