Gomelselmash supplies 1,325 combine harvesters to Belarusian farms this year
The republican unitary enterprise Gomselmash supplied 1,325 combine harvesters to Belarusian farms before august 1, 2006 so as all of them were used in the harvesting campaign. Last year it supplied 1,000 by the same date, BelTA was informed in the company’s marketing department.
According to the state program for supplies of agricultural hardware over the 7 months of 2006 Gomel-based company produced 300 combine harvesters KZR-10 (Polessye-Rotor), 790 KZS (Polessye-10K) and 180 KZS-7. Besides, 60 combines were sold and 5 KZS-1218 were sent for trial in various Belarusian oblasts.
Employees of the marketing department pointed to the fact that supplies of KZS-7 were cut down almost 3 times this year. They were substituted for higher productive machines Polessye-10K which production grew almost 15 times.
So far the company has almost completed the program for supplies of agricultural hardware, including potato combines and beet harvesters. Thus, by September 1 Belarusian farms will receive 110 potato combines and beet harvesters, 100 fodder harvesters Polessye-800.
Gomselmash sells its produce to Russia as well.
