Gomselmash conducts test of its harvesters on Iranian fields

Belarusian agricultural machinery producer Gomselmash is conducting a test of its Polesie 600 harvesters on the fields of Iran, BelTA learnt from 1st deputy director of the regional sales department of Gomselmash Vasily Zhuk. At present, four harvesters are being tested in Iran. Specialists of the Belarusian company have already given a training course for the local machine-operators. According to specialists, after testing, Polesie 600 harvester should be included in the list of the machinery which will be purchased by Iranian agricultural producers at the expense of state loans. The harvesters of this kind are expected to be displayed at a big exhibition of agricultural machinery which will be held in Iran in autumn this year. Gomselmash also intends to present its machinery at exhibitions in Venezuela and Russia. Gomselmash is a major manufacture of multi-purpose agricultural equipment in Belarus. The company’s offering range includes combine harvesters, mowing and soil cultivation machines. All the processes, like design, production and maintenance of agricultural equipment are certified to ISO 9001-2001. The company won the Best Goods of Belarus and the Best Goods of Belarus in Russian Market contests. In January-September this year, Belarusian agricultural machinery producer Gomselmash exported products at the amount of $73.6 million, or 53% up on the same period last year. The company exported its products to the Russian Federation, Ukraine, China, Argentina, the Czech Republic and other countries.
