Gomselmash to export 350 combine harvesters to Ukraine in early 2008
At the beginning of 2008 Gomselmash will supply 350 combine harvesters to Ukraine, the first lot of combine harvesters will be produced by the end of the year, Gomselmash deputy director general, director of regional sales department Vasily Klimenok told BelTA.
In January-October 2007, Gomselmash exports totaled $80.2 million, an increase of 64.1% as compared to the same time last year. The company traded with 21 countries worldwide. Accounting for 90% of Gomselmash total turnover Russia remains its major customer.
Gomselmash is a major manufacture of multi-purpose agricultural equipment in Belarus. The company’s offering range includes combine harvesters, mowing and soil cultivation machines. All the processes, like design, production and maintenance of agricultural equipment are certified to ISO 9001-2001. It employs 17,000 people.
In 2006, Gomselmash won the Best Goods of Belarus and Best Goods of Belarus in the Russian Federation contests.
