Head of Gomel oblast to present investment projects to local businessmen
Chairman of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee Alexander Yakobson met with businessmen of the oblast in the Bragin region on September 26. In the course of the session, the sides discussed the prospects of business development and possible trends of investments in the Bragin region. They also considered the issues related to the state support for small-scale businesses. The leader of the Gomel oblast personally presented the investment projects which could be implemented in the region.
In particular, the launching of meats and bakery foods production in the region was of a special interest to the businessmen. In particular, its concerns the marbled meat production. This kind of meat is in popular demand all over the world.
According to Alexander Yakobson, in the region there are a lot of the facilities which are in need of investments. The main goal of the leadership of the oblast is to demonstrate the potential of local settlements and possible trends of development of a private initiative.
The sessions of this kind are expected to be held in all the regions of the Gomel oblast. Some 31 settlements of the region were included in the list of the settlements which have preferential taxation for companies and businessmen.
