Italy to launch agricultural, tourism projects in Gomel Oblast
GOMEL, 21 February (BelTA) – Italian businessmen are going to launch investment projects in agriculture and tourism in Gomel Oblast, Claudio Catania, President of the Italy-Belarus Chamber of Commerce, told reporters on 19 February as he took part in the Belarus-Italy regional forum in Gomel, BelTA has learned.
Italy is also interested in energy and environmental projects in Belarus.
According to Claudio Catania, Gomel Oblast will consider investment projects in the near future. In March 2011 the delegation of Gomel will be invited to Italy to participate in the Bridge conference together with big Italian manufacturers.
The Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Italy-Belarus Chamber of Commerce signed a cooperation agreement on 19 February.
