Japanese composer Kim Shin to perform in Gomel region May 23-24

Gomel region will see performances by Japanese composer and performer Kim Shin, the press service of Gomel region administration informed. The artist will perform in the city upon Sozh on May 23. His concert in Mozyr is scheduled for May 24. Kim Shin’s tour is part of the Belarusian-Japanese cultural exchange programme and is timed to the 20th anniversary of the Chernobyl catastrophe. World-renowned master of Japanese instrumental music Kim Shin participated in over 200 theatre performances and shows across the globe. His musical albums are saturated with philosophical themes of time and life. The latest album got a certificate of the American NASA. With his music, the echo of the synthesizer Kim Shin sends a message about the “United Earth” to the entire world and the Universe. His melodies unite people and nature, overcome language and culture barriers. According to the press service, Kim Shin expressed wish to visit Chernobyl-affected areas of Belarus due to the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster in order to aid people, who had lost their loved ones, with his music. The performances will be held with support of the Council of Ministers’ Chernobyl aftermath committee, the Belarusian president business administration and the Palace of the Republic.
