Khimvolokno to take part in Exprofil exhibition in Paris

Svetlogorsk-based Khimvolokno will take part in the Exprofil exhibition of textile yearn in Paris, BelTA learn tin the company. At the exhibition which gathers world’s leading producers of textile and yarn Khimvolokno will present a wide assortment range of threads and textile. Particularly, the company will showcase polyester texturized threads, multifilament yarns, jersey cloths, heatproof Arselon threads and yarns. This year Svetlogorsk Khimvolokno will take part in eight international exhibitions in France, Germany, China, Indian and the USA with a view to promoting its products at the foreign markets. Today the company exports to 29 countries worldwide. The main partners are Poland, Italy, Germany, United Arab Emirates, Korea, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Turkey, Slovakia, the Czech Republic. In 2007, Khimvolokno implemented several investment projects to launched production of new threads and yarns. Thus, the company put in operation an entangled yarn production line with the total capacity of 145 tonnes a year. In H2 2007 the company launched production of polyester shining yarn, entangling threads and bonded fabric. Founded in 1964 Svetlogorsk-based Khimvolokno is one of the largest textile yarn producers in Belarus. It comprises facilities producing artificial and textile fibre. The company employs more than 6,000 people.
