Land under White Wings Grand-Prix goes to Belarus, Latvia and Romania
GOMEL, April 27 (BelTA) – Land under White Wings Grand-Prix went to the participants from Belarus, Latvia and Romania, BelTA learnt from Chief Executive of the festival Irina Mironycheva.
Mozyr played a host to the 6th International Youth Festival Land under White Wings. The festival was founded in 1998. The festival bases on the idea of reviving the lands suffered from the Chernobyl disaster.
This year the festival has gathered nearly 500 children from 11 countries. Partaking in the three-day marathon in vocal and choreography were children aged between five to 17 years old. The jury headed by People’s Artist of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Drinevsky assessed ten vocal groups, 14 choreographic collectives and over 50 singers.
The Choreography Grand-Prix went to the folk choreographic ensemble Dzintaric (Riga, Latvia). Nikoletta Gavrilica (Bucharest, Romania) and Viktoria Morozova (Chausy, Belarus) won in the Vocal nomination.
