A delegation of Latvian businessmen is set to visit Gomel on March 11, BelTA learnt from the Gomel department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The delegation will consist of the officials of the Latvian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and ten companies engaged in port services, transport and logistics, forestry, organization of sports and entertainment events.
The agenda of the visit will include the talks with the authorities of the Gomel town council, a business meeting with economic agents of the Gomel oblast, a presentation of an economic potential of the Gomel oblast and the free economic zone Gomel-Raton.
The visit has been organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Latvia together with the Latvian embassy in Belarus, the Minsk and Gomel departments of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
