Liritsa music band wins grand prix at international festival in Bulgaria
Instrumental music band Liritsa of Gomel regional philharmonic led by Trofim Antipov won the grand prix of the international youth festival "Folklore without Boundaries" in Bulgaria.
First deputy head of the Gomel region administration's culture department Olga Antonenko told BelTA, every year this prestigious musical forum gathers a huge number of performers from all over the world. This year over one thousand music bands from 32 countries took part in the festival.
According to the source, Liritsa has already received business proposals from Bulgaria, Macedonia, and Romania. Soon these countries may be able to savour the art by the Gomel band.
Instrumental music band Liritsa has been performing for six years. The Gomel music band won fourteen international festivals and contests.
