Magic on Christmas charitable event starts in Gomel
GOMEL, 3 December (BelTA) – The Magic on Christmas traditional charitable event started in Gomel and will last till 7 January, BelTA learnt from the Gomel centre for social services for families and children.
The event is held in Gomel for the sixth time under the auspices of the local authorities. The event includes collection of New Year presents for kids from children’s homes and low-income families. The organizing committee of the event is ready to accept books, toys, sports equipment, greeting cards and sweets as presents for children.
According to the specialists of the centre, about 600 children get New Year presents annually due to the charitable event. Taking part in the event are youth organizations, companies and businessmen of the Gomel.
