More than 200 companies from 5 countries to present their products at exhibition Spring in Gomel 2008
More than 200 companies will feature their products at the 9th international universal exhibition and fair Spring in Gomel 2008 which will be held on May 21-23. As BelTA learnt in the Gomel department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (which is one of the organizers of the forum), starting the first exhibition held in 2000, the number of participants has increased more than five times.
Visitors of the exhibition will be able to get familiar with the expositions of goods from Belarus, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Moldova and the Islamic Republic of Iran. A wide range of products will be showcased in booths of the joint ventures which operate in this country.
This year, companies of the food and processing industry will make up 30% of the total number of forum’s participants, companies of the light industry – 17%, companies which produces various machinery – almost 16%. Companies of the South-West District of Moscow, the Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk oblasts of the Russian Federation and also the Ukrainian regions – the Chernigov, Zhitomir and Kherson oblasts will present collective booths.
The exposition of the forum will occupy around 3 200 square meters. Moreover, more than 20 companies will display their products on open grounds. Production association Gomselmash will be among them. Within the framework of the international exhibition, fashion shows of Gomel companies, testing sessions and contact-cooperation exchanges will be held. Participants of the Gomel Investment Forum which will gather 37 delegations from 21 countries worldwide will attend the exhibition Spring in Gomel 2008 as well.
