Mozyr circus studio wins crown of world festival Orpheus in Italy
Members of the Mozyr circus studio “Arena” won diplomas and a crown of the international youth festival Orpheus in Italy.
As BelTA learnt from leader of the studio Maria Kuznetsova, the 1st youth carnival-festival Orpheus in Italy gathered more than a thousand artistes from 11 European countries. The final of the art competition was held in Venice.
Winners of the competition were chosen in line with the following nominations: soloists, vocal groups, choreographic art, circus and instrumental art, painting. Young circus performers from Mozyr Nikita Nagornov and Stas Plotnikov presented a great show. The boys were awarded diplomas and their studio “Arena” received one of 14 crowns of the festival.
The Mozyr circus studio Arena under the direction of professional circus performers Maria Kuznetsova and Boris Kuznetsov was founded in 2006. Attending the studio are around fifty boys and girls residents of Mozyr.
